PEDC evaluates and supports eligible economic development projects consistent with Type 4B statutory authority.

Project Support Within Statutory Authority

PEDC has the statutory authority to do more than facilitate introductions. Type 4B designation means PEDC can participate directly in qualifying projects - through infrastructure investment, land and building transactions, and coordinated development support.

Project participation may include:

Infrastructure participation
Land or building participation
Development support within statutory limits
Coordination with municipal and county partners

Every project goes through board approval and formal agreement documentation. That process protects both parties - and ensures commitments are on the record.
